Westside Ribbon Festival

7th Annual Westside Ribbon Festival

February 7-8, 2026

The Westside OMTA Ribbon Festival is a delightful performance opportunity for music students in a relaxed and festive atmosphere. It is a non-competitive and non-adjudicated event. Students can choose up to three categories, and will receive a colorful ribbon for each.

1) Solo: These may be any style – Classical, pop, musicals, movie tracks, etc. and any instrument.

2) Artwork: We encourage creation of music-themed artwork to be displayed at the festival. (Possibilities include a diorama, poster, mobile, statue or other creation)

3) Ensemble: duets, trios, quartets. This is your opportunity to perform together with a musical peer or an adult.

Fees: Participation fees are $20 per student. Non-member teachers are welcome to register through a member, with an additional $5 fee.

Registration: Registration will be on the OMTA Website  The deadline for registration is January 24th.  After that date your registration and repertoire choices are final.

As per OMTA policy, if sheet music is needed for performance, use original books or purchased digital sheet music. No photocopies are allowed unless needed for page-turns.
